As part of its efforts to modernize its facilities and improve service for pilots, the airport is replacing its former Coencorp system with a new computerized fuel management system (FMS).

Transport Canada’s Transportation Safety Board (TSB) recently released data showing an increase in runway safety incidents at Canadian airports. Although high-risk events remain rare, this trend raises important issues in prevention, ground operations management, and user awareness.

With the arrival of spring, Gilles‑Beaudet Airport (CSB3) is gradually resuming its seasonal air operations. This period marks the return of recreational, training, and general aviation flights—a normal and anticipated activity for our region.

By the end of the month, the airport will carry out internal cleaning of the fuel tank. The work will be performed once the required fuel level has been reached, which will depend on consumption over the next few days.

Gilles‑Beaudet Airport (CSB3) wishes to inform its users that runway crack sealing work is scheduled on June 16. The runway will be closed during work periods. A NOTAM will be issued.
