The Quebec Regional Airports Network (RQA) recently responded to the tabling of the 2026–2027 provincial budget by voicing its concerns over the absence of financial support for regional airports. While these infrastructures play an essential role in ensuring safety, access to services, and the economic development of the regions, their needs—estimated at nearly $1 billion—remain unmet.
